initially founded in 1999 to design and market multimedia international
business softwares.
The story
Once upon a time... I was surfing on the svg W3C pages looking for svg
softwares. In the converter section, I found CR2V, a raster to vector
engine, from Celinea. As I knew converters and had always been
frustrated by the results (I had tested Streamline from Adobe,
CorelTrace from Corel, Macromedia Flash converter and others...), I
downloaded it with curiosity and tried it.
It wasn't very easy with the "Dos line" but I succeeded and for the
first time I was really surprised by the high quality of the results.
It was something like a jewel, a new dimension of drawing for me.
For the first time, I could import, modify, animate my own vector
drawing (however I'm not a professional designer). I wrote to
Christophe Vantighem, the team leader of Celinea, in order to know if
CR2V would have a real interface and Christophe proposed to me to do
such an interface...I began to work and Christophe made his "Dos
program" a windows ActiveX. Today we are partners with VectorEye.
